Dear Friends:

Over thirty years ago, the Foundation for the Diocese of Helena was created to generate a perpetual source of financial support to strengthen the mission of the Church of the Diocese of Helena. It has grown through the generosity of people like you who have given of their time, talent and treasure to benefit others. We continue our work to provide a constant, stable source of income for the Diocese of Helena and a vehicle by which the faithful can endow their Church.

Five years ago, the Foundation began a small grants program. To date, we have given away a total of $131,100. Our grants have supported parish projects including new windows, siding and furnaces; special projects in our Catholic schools; medical and radio equipment for our mission in Guatemala; and training for lay ministry.

During the past fiscal year, the Foundation distributed nearly $500,000 to the diocese, parishes and programs. These funds were used to educate seminarians, support Legendary Lodge and our Guatemala Mission, assist our senior priests, strengthen ministries within our parishes, and assist Bishop Thomas in addressing the greatest needs within the Church.

Without your support, none of this would have been possible. We continue to be grateful for your faithfulness and generosity. Together, we can continue “building the future in faith.”
